Audit-L is a generalized audit discussion list open to all auditors irrespective of industries and organizations. The list is intended to have a diverse membership so that broad perspectives from all auditors could be gained through interactive communication. While many specialized lists were created to address unique needs of specific industries or special interest groups, the concept of this list recognizes that many audit issues cross industry/organizational lines.

Complete the following form to subscribe (or unsubscribe) to Audit-l:

Subscribing and Unsubscribing

Via Email

For users to subscribe, they send e-mail to:

	audit-l-subscribe@auditnetlists.org

and then confirm the fact that they indeed want to be added by replying to the message.

To unsubscribe send to:

	audit-l-unsubscribe@auditnetlists.org

For unsubscribes, there is no confirmation process by default, though this can be changed if you have a problem with list members being unsubscribed against their wishes.

Digest Version

For the digest version of audit-l use the following commands for subscribing and unsubscribing:

audit-l-digest-subscribe@auditnetlists.org

audit-l-digest-unsubscribe@auditnetlists.org

Via WWW

	http://auditnetlists.org/audit-l/

This is where people can subscribe and unsubscribe themselves. You can also use it yourself to invite people onto the list. When you submit their info, they will receive an e-mail, and by replying to it, they get on the list. To unsubscribe people, just select the "unsubscribe" button.

Again, we do not require the user to confirm the unsubscribe request; they are removed upon receipt of the e-mail. This can be changed if your list has a problem with people rampantly unsubscribing other people.

Sending Messages to the List

To send to the list (and hence all the e-mail addresses on the list), address an e-mail to:

	audit-l@auditnetlists.org

Each list has designated list moderators. Any message that is sent to the above list address (including ones from the moderator), will be sent to the moderator with MODERATE in the Subject line and instructions on what to do to approve the message. The message is specially formatted so that if you "reply" to it, the message will go out to the list members.

Please observe common netiquette guidelines for posting and responding to the list.

Do not post job announcements or other non-audit related material on this listserve or you will be prohibited from future postings. This list will be an unmoderated sponsored list in that I will accept sponsor advertising to support AuditNet®. If you or your organization is interested in sponsoring the list send an e-mail to editor@auditnet.org

Note: If you are changing your email address unsubscribe using the old e-mail address and re-subscribe using the new e-mail address.
